SERVE Team: Bayview Kids
We are passionate about helping kids, from babies to Grade 5, on their Jesus Journey! Through a variety of creative ways, we share the Bible, God's love and the importance of following Jesus. It’s not just knowing about Jesus…we want to see kids know Jesus! We have a variety of roles where you can develop your skills and gifts to help serve our families at Bayview Glen. We would love for you to consider serving at either our Saturday night service at 4:30 PM or our Sunday 9 AM, 10 AM, or 11:55 AM services.
Role Description(s)
Classroom SERVE Team (Youth and Adults)
Work alongside a SERVE Lead to support group times and help create a welcoming, fun environment for the kids. Interact with Kids and check in about their week. Join the worship experience and help kids listen and worship together. Hear memory verses and record names for draws. Help with checking nametags and parent codes for sign out.
Areas of Opportunity: Nursery, Preschool, JK/SK, Grades 1&2, or Grades 3-5
Time Commitment: Weekly or Bi-weekly during Sunday services: 8:45, 10:15 or 11:40 AM
Classroom SERVE Lead (Youth and Adults)
Help children discuss and learn about God in a variety of ways and help guide the SERVE Team that leads them! Spend time supporting and encouraging leaders, connecting with kids over games and activities, then join all the classes together for our large group worship time with songs and stories. Walk alongside both children and leaders as they learn about God “Kids style” and model what loving leadership looks like in action. Or be a Nursery Lead and care for our littlest ones while you support Nursery leaders and create the opportunity for their parents to attend service.
Areas of Opportunity: Nursery, Preschool, JK/SK, Grade 1&2 or Grades 3-5.
Time Commitment: Weekly or Bi-weekly during Sunday services: 8:45, 10:15 or 11:40 AM
Leader in Training (LIT - Students in Grades 6, 7 & 8)
Student roles for Junior High Students: Learn to lead and guide activities, crafts, games and small group discussions. Interact with Kids by playing with them and participating with them. Help leaders prep and clean spaces and help kids get ready to learn and go to and from service.
Areas of Opportunity: Preschool, JK/SK, Grade 1&2, Worship Team, Support Team

Welcome Team
Come join the Welcome Team for Bayview Kids! This team ensures the safety, organization, and flow of our Kids Worship Service. SERVE Team members' responsibilities include registering and checking in families, bringing kids and new families to their classrooms, and creating a warm inviting space for our Bayview Kids!
Time Commitment: Weekly or Bi-weekly during Sunday services: 8:45, 10:15 or 11:40 AM
Support Team
Help kids, families, and leaders experience Bayview Kids in a way that feels safe, supported, and full of joy! Serve behind the scenes by supporting spaces like the SERVE Lounge, Prayer Room, Tech, and Sensory Room, or walk alongside kids and families who need additional support, including children with disabilities and individual needs, helping them engage with church in meaningful ways.
Note: You're not committing to every area of support, just the best fit for you!
Areas of Opportunity: Large Group Support/Tech, SERVE Lounge Support, Prayer Room, Sensory Room, and Inclusion Support (supporting kids with additional needs / disabilities)

Worship Team
Help kids encounter God through worship in a way that's engaging, joyful, and meaningful! Use your gifts to lead worship 'kids style' by creating a fun and Spirit-filled environment during Large Group with songs, actions, and joy. Help kids learn how to worship, participate, and express their faith.
