SERVE Team: TAC Meals
Do you long to be Jesus' hands and feet to the poor and marginalized in our community? Are you able to put together a hot meal, sandwiches, and/or some snacks? If so, then our Toronto Alliance Church (TAC) Meals Team is for you!
TAC provides a sit-down hot meal for people experiencing homelessness in downtown Toronto. Every 3-4 months, Bayview Glen Church aims to provide food for up to 200 people, including around 120 sandwich meal bags and hot meals (soup/ chilli), to serve 50-60 guests and transport them to TAC. The meals and meal bags are then served and distributed by staff and volunteers.
